Thank you for the compliment, I wanted to try the Woodcut Pro tool with a different wood and with cross grain rather than end grain, so yesterday I made the vase from cherry wood.
The tool seems to work very well with that too, but I initially had more trouble with „bounce“ as you can see from the top inside of the vase – but I can easily rescue that as I haven’t removed the spigot yet. I’ve made five different vases now using the techniques I learned with you, and am very pleased that it all works so well.
